West Coast retreats are held in beautiful Auburn, California. This historical city is famed for the 1849 California Gold Rush and its Wild West past on the Wells Fargo stagecoach route. With a population of around 14,000, Auburn is set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, 90 minutes from Lake Tahoe.

Couples may wish to take advantage of the many recreational activities available. Auburn is known as the Endurance Capital of the World, with some of the best hiking, running, cycling, and horseback riding trails in California on our doorstep. Maps can be obtained at the Auburn Visitors Center, one block from our office.

Your retreat here is led by Jordan Hamilton, Ph.D., who works with the two of you through consecutive, focused days, reaching the patterns and wounds underneath your conflict and rebuilding connection at a depth weekly sessions rarely touch. Additional supportive treatments such as therapeutic massage, craniosacral therapy, guided labyrinth meditations, and forest bathing walks are available in Auburn as adjuncts to the retreat; we are happy to provide contacts on request.

Our office is located within walking distance of historic downtown Auburn and offers complete privacy and security during your retreat. Travel is straightforward: about an hour northeast of Sacramento International Airport and about two and a half hours northeast of San Francisco International Airport.
